This mod includes minor changes, improvements and level scripting bug fixes. It's purpose is to make the vanilla experience better. Note: Mods with higher numbers will overwrite some of the fixes in this mod. Most important changes (contains story spoilers):
Global
- Weapons don't despawn anymore.
- Increased the volume of some of the music tracks slightly.
- Fix for one of Konoko's outfits not using the fully detailed head model.
- Fix for the swat TCTF rear punch throw not dealing any damage.
- Comguys now have a super kick.
- Texture fix for one class of furies where their chin would appear black.
- A prompt showing ammo left in a weapon while standing near it will now appear in every level instead of only the early ones.
- Restored an unused sound for unlocking doors.
- If the player has overhealth the healthbar will turn purple matching Konoko's daodan aura.
- Restored an unused taunt sound for furies.
- Corrected the ninjabot melee profile to not cause crashes.
- Scientist women can now fight when shapeshifted to by the player.
- Konoko now has a second idle animation and the cooldown between idle animations was reduced. Previously it was insanely high.
- Added interpolations to some of Konoko's and Striker's animations so they look okay when used by other charactes that can use those animations.
- The rear Running Lariat move is now unlocked in every level. This is intended to match the core mod that unlocks every move but fails to unlock this one.
- Fixed every cutscene that made weapons terrible to aim with after the cutscene ended.
- Konoko's monologues now use more cinematic portraits in some levels.
- Increased the amout of time some music tracks play for in a few levels.
- Added or modified a few of the music tracks: (windows only)
- Added a new cut to mus_lz.
- Added a new track called mus_99. This is a variant of mus_cool4 but it has a new cut.
- Changed the intro in mus_ot to use the intro from the game's official soundtrack.
- Added a new track called mus_trs. This is a previously unused track called "No One Left To Trust" from the game's soundtrack.
- Added a variant of mus_chase called mus_chase2. It has a longer intro. Currently unused, can still be used in scripts if this mod is installed.
- Added a new track called mus_cool98 which is an unused track from "Ambient Suite" soundtrack. Currently unused, can still be used in scripts if this mod is installed.
Level specific
Chapter 2:
- Receptionist's chair won't get duplicated at all anymore.
- Added a prevetion to where the player could lock themselves out of the boss fight room.
Chapter 3:
- Corrected some scripts so that the player is unable to witness certain enemies spawning and certain cutscene characters despawning.
- Fixed one dialog not having subtitles and one cinematic portrait appearing incorrectly.
Chapter 5:
- Fixed one of the objectives. Player now has to defeat every enemy on top of the building to be able to finish the level.
- New track mus_cool99 now plays where the missing file mus_13 was supposed to play.
- Some of the level's particles are now always visible instead of activating only when the player is very close.
Chapter 6:
- Shinatama won't disappear on screen during one of the cutscenes anymore.
- Konoko now can't hit herself if she finishes off the boss with the front punch throw.
- Boss music now starts properly when loading the game from a save point.
- Fixed one cinematic portrait appearing incorrectly.
Chapter 8:
- One of the invincible cutscene characters could fall through the map and keep falling infinitely. This character now gets removed to prevent that.
- Shinatama now properly sits with her head down before the cutscene starts.
- One of Shinatama's animations won't jitter during the cutscene anymore.
- Vat bots now use their dedicated melee profile.
- The cutscene that shows the room where the vat bots are now spawns those vat bots before the cutscene instead of after it ends.
- Fixed a widescreen issue in the outro where Konoko could be seen standing still while the TCTF swat was being pulled in by the fan.
Chapter 9:
- Konoko's console animation won't jitter during one of the cutscenes anymore.
- Security guards in the intro cutscene will no longer spawn on screen.
Chapter 10:
- Fixed a bug that allowed the player to teleport one of the enemies back to it's spawning point.
- Clouds in the boss fight are now properly visible.
- Fixed one of the obvious enemy spawns in save point 2. She now swings from the ceiling.
Chapter 11:
- Fixed an issue where the player could reach Shinatama under certain circumstances.
- The laser cutscene after griffin fight no longer removes player's invisibility if the player has any.
- Fixed a widescreen issue at the beginning of this level's intro.
Chapter 12:
- If the save point 1 is loaded the door behind Konoko will no longer appear black.
- Fixed a widescreen issue in the outro where Konoko's animations would end too early.
- Konoko is now unable to have a shield during the Kerr cutscene. The shield now spawns in a room that opens after that cutscene instead.
Chapter 13:
- Griffin's chair won't sink underground during the intro cutscene anymore.
- Fixed a widescreen issue in the ending cutscene where Konoko can be seen standing still near a console and where Griffin's shot can be seen go past Shinatama.
- Scientist woman will no longer deactivate one of the subtations for Konoko in order to prevent issues with Konoko's monologue.
- Shinatama fight now uses different camera settings
- The player is now unable to ruin their save point 5 by falling into the pit before the game saved.
- The level 2 lasers that go over consoles in Shinatama fight will now be stopped during the cutscene. This reduces the chance of Konoko being unfairly targeted by the turrets after the cutscene ends.
- Shinatama's torso will no longer clip into the floor
- Shinatama now uses a different idle animation so it matches with animations during the ending cutscene.
- Music track mus_trs now plays when the player starts unlocking the last door.
- Fixed some enemies not using their proper melee profiles.
Chapter 14:
- Konoko can't hit herself when finishing off the boss with the front punch throw anymore.
- The player is now unable to trigger a certain dialogue in save point 3 before it is intended to be triggered.
- Mutant muro now uses his taunt sound.
- The satellite dish now aims upwards before the cutscene to make the transition between gameplay and cutscene better. This dish doesn't have collision anymore though.
- Fixed some enemies not using their proper melee profiles which caused them to not use most of their moves.
Known issues:
- Even if the core AE mod Unlock All Moves is removed, the rear Running Lariat will stay unlocked in every level.
- Brutal AI mod will not affect the comguys.
