OniX is a fan-made rebuild of the Oni game application, yielding new possibilities for Oni in terms of modding, new engine features and support. Please see https://wiki.oni2.net/OniX for details and documentation.

Neo's reimplementation of Motoko (Oni's graphics engine) wasn't finished, but it does fix the bug with visible skybox edges experienced by some players. It has the following limitations:
- doesn't work with the Daodan DLL
- problems with lensflares
- problems with sorting transparencies

If you are reading this description directly while browsing the Depot and want to install the Daodan DLL without installing the AE, place the files from the ZIP's win_only\ directory into your Oni\ game directory alongside Oni.exe.
